Hi-Tek Aquariums Shipping Policy

At Hi-Tek Aquariums, we strive to ensure your order arrives safely, promptly, and in excellent condition. Please read our shipping policy carefully before placing your order.

Shipping Areas

We currently ship Australia-wide for dry goods and non-livestock items.
Livestock (fish, corals, reptiles) are available for in-store purchase only at our Brookvale location. We do not ship live animals at this time.

Processing & Dispatch Times

  • Orders are processed within 1–3 business days.
  • Once shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details.
  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed the next business day.

Delivery Time Estimates

  • Standard Shipping: 3–8 business days (depending on your location)
  • Express Shipping (optional): 1–3 business days

Please note that remote or rural areas may experience slightly longer delivery times.

Shipping Rates

  • Shipping rates: Shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout. In some instances, you may be provided with Express or Standard shipping options.
  • Bulky or Oversized Items: Bulky or oversized items are Click & Collect Only at this time. Please contact us at sales@hi-tekaquariums.com.au or (02) 9905 1414 to enquire about local delivery, which may incur additional charges.

Packaging & Care

All orders are packed with care to ensure safe transit. Fragile items such as glassware, lighting, and aquarium equipment are cushioned and securely boxed.

Shipping Restrictions

We do not ship (including, but not limited to):

  • Live fish, corals, or reptiles
  • Aquarium systems pre-filled with water
  • Hazardous chemicals (unless approved for transit under Australian regulations)

Order Issues & Tracking

If your order is delayed, damaged, or missing, please contact us immediately at sales@hi-tekaquariums.com.au with your order number. We'll work with you and our shipping partners to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Prefer to pick up your order? Select “Click & Collect” at checkout and collect your items from our Brookvale store during business hours.
